The Event Doctor specialises in delivering expert medical care for a wide range of events; from horse racing and equestrian events, to music festivals and large sporting competitions. We ensure that every event is safe and well-supported.

Whether booked directly by event organisers or through an event agency for larger events, The Event Doctor provides professional, reliable medical services tailored to the unique needs of each event. All our Doctors are Senior Emergency Medicine Clinicians with Pre-Hospital Trauma qualifications, making them experienced and knowledgeable in the Event Medicine industry.

Dr Rosey Fisher MBBS BSc(Hons)

Rosey is specialised in Emergency Medicine with a particular interest in equestrian events and horse racing. She also takes Clinical Lead for music festivals, large sporting events, ice hockey matches and agricultural shows.

Dr Sophie Malem

Sophie is a Senior Emergency Medicine Clinician with a keen interest in children’s emergency care. She can provide clinical leadership or work as part of multi disciplined team at music festivals, carnivals, and large sporting events.

Services

Music Festivals & Touring Artists

We are able to provide medical cover for touring international music artists whilst they are in the UK. This can be achieved remotely or to join the artist on tour.

Equestrian Events

The Event Doctor works closely with the British Horse Racing Authority and all doctors are registered annually with them. This means we can provide Medical Officer cover to professional Flat, all weather and National Hunt race courses, as well as amateur Point to Point events.

Other Events

The Event Doctor can provide specialist emergency medical care to major sporting competitions, community events such as marathons and carnivals, and local amateur events.

All our doctors are Emergency Medicine Clinicians holding the following qualifications:

Full GMC registration with license to practice

ALS – Advanced Life Support

PHTLS – Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support

ATLS – Advanced Trauma Life Support

HALO – High Accuity Low Occurrence (rare life-threatening situations)
